LAUNCH DAY
Gamespot. EGM. 1UP. Play. IGN. Nintendo Power. These are all very respectable sources for news and reviews related to the gaming industry. However, they all have about as much personality in their reporting as a dead lobster. I'm here not to provide you with a reviews megasite, but with a Nintendo fan's gaming blog with an actual personality.
I've got plans for this site bigger than Microsoft's repair bill: Virtual Console release lists and reviews, a commentary on the every-infamous Smashbros.com blog, and random fac... i mean opinion articles by me will be updated every monday. I'll also upkeep an "Official SlapStic Game Watch" list highlighting information and links to all the games in the forecast for Wii and DS that don't look like total garbage. This list will exclude all games starting with "C" and ending with "arnival Games." I also plan on plugging in a Review Archive section, where i'll list the reviews of 5 or 6 gaming sites or magazines all right below the game name. This section also, will only feature games that are 8.0's or above. There are the few rarities that I might throw in that score below that, but don't get your hopes up if you're a DS pet sim with a name ending in Z.
You've probably already noticed the links to the "VC Hall of Fame", and "VC Hall of Shame." I'm not even going to describe that, because if you can't figure out what that'll be you probably left the site when you saw it didn't have pictures of kittens on it. http://www.sittinkitty.net/funstuff.htm is the site for those VERY disturbed web surfers. Back on topic, next monday will be the official launch of the site. I've got a few fans (from a faq i wrote for AC:WW) that i've notified about this site, so i'll expect you guys to come check it out then! I'll have the three weekly articles posted up at around 8:00 PM that night, so buckle up kids. For any readers who aren't familiar with my AC guide, I AM a Christian, so if profanity and Buddha make you giggle, you've come to the wrong place.
